Etxeita Holm Oak

A different and very entertaining project. We were asked to create something around one of the most important trees in the Basque Country: the Etxeita holm oak in Garai. This enormous tree is the subject of several stories, including one claiming that it could shelter as many as 360 sheep on rainy days—an astonishing number! We also loved the tranquillity of the setting and, by playing with these ideas, decided to add a touch of humour. This is how we chose to represent it.
